Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Prosperity Bank. This individual will provide exceptional customer service, resolve issues in a timely and accurate manner, and build sustainable relationships through positive and open communications.

As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing thorough and effective customer service to all customers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Resolving problems through active listening, empathy, and clarifying the customer's needs; determining the cause of the problem, explaining the best solution, submitting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution, when applicable.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive working knowledge of all systems.
  • Updating customer information during and after each call.
  • Meeting personal/customer service team call handling goals.
  • Notifying immediate supervisors of all problems or unusual matters.
  • Following communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of experience in strong customer service skills and active listening in Call Center and/or Banking.
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency using multiple screens.
  • The ability to effectively read, write, and verbally communicate with customers and co-workers.
  • A professional attitude and appearance.
  • The ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Detailed-oriented skills.
Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a standard Monday - Friday schedule from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Rotating Saturdays may be required.
