In this role, you will oversee, manage, and engage children in a comprehensive after school enrichment program that encompasses academic assistance, educational activities, and recreational opportunities.

Your program will be integrated within a public school environment, collaborating closely with school staff to ensure the YMCA's active participation in the school's community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage a high-quality enrichment program.
  • Ensure compliance with all YMCA health, safety, and risk management policies.
  • Maintain vigilant supervision of all participants and adhere to child protection policies.
  • Utilize positive behavior management techniques, including redirection and logical consequences.
  • Uphold cleanliness and safety standards in accordance with YMCA regulations.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents, school staff, and community members.
  • Participate in fundraising events, family gatherings, staff meetings, and training sessions.

This position typically operates on school days, with hours from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Additional training and special events may occur during evenings and weekends.
