Position Overview:
As a key member of our engineering team, you will be at the forefront of innovation in the mobile industry. Your role will involve crafting robust backend services that enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code and comprehensive tests.
  • Engage with production systems, ensuring safe and efficient navigation.
  • Identify and resolve performance challenges in collaboration with the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team.
  • Assist in refining the product backlog and clarifying user stories and tasks.
  • Provide operational support to both technical and non-technical users.
  • Foster positive relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Mentor junior engineers and lead development initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, particularly with backend technologies.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing applications using JavaScript or similar languages.
  • 5+ years of experience working in agile environments, utilizing methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Familiarity with modern software development practices, including continuous integration and delivery.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Proficient in NodeJS/JavaScript and Go, with a strong understanding of system design.
  • Skilled in creating user-friendly APIs and avoiding unnecessary complexity.
  • Experienced in managing resilient and highly available systems.
  • Able to work independently while demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is competitive and based on various factors including location, qualifications, and experience. In addition to a base salary, employees may be eligible for annual bonuses and stock grants.
