The Psychosocial Clinician II is a key member of an interdisciplinary team who provides direct assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention to members and/or family members. This role requires expertise in various treatment modalities and the ability to effectively communicate clinical material to members and clinical staff.
Essential Responsibilities:- Conduct timely and accurate assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for members.
- Provide evidence-based treatment interventions to adults, adolescents, and children.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address members' unique needs and goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
- Provide high-quality documentation of clinical encounters and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct initial interviews with members to gather information and develop a treatment plan.
- Determine the urgency of members' needs and provide timely interventions.
- Develop and implement crisis intervention plans as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of current DSM nomenclature and treatment modalities.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Master's degree in a field related to behavioral health, such as social work, psychology, or sociology.
- Two years of post-graduate experience in mental health therapy, with a focus on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.
