Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and interpret HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee cultural training and partner relations to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.

  • Strategic workforce planning to optimize staffing and reduce labor costs, involving shift structure, crew deployment, head count, position design, maximizing schedule stability, and minimizing overtime.
  • Ensure fair and consistent communication of policies, compensation, and benefits to all employees.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience, including supervisory responsibility, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law, regulations, and practices.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations in an understandable manner.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal direction.
  • Demonstrated history of responsiveness to customer needs and proven results, as well as ability to assess areas in need of improvement and recommend alternatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Well-developed analytical skills.
  • Forward thinking.
  • Ability to evaluate the financial impact of various labor deployment approaches.
  • Data base (Excel) experience and experience with HRIS and other HR technology platforms.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% occasionally to other Schreiber locations.
