Job Summary:

The Refrigerated Major Account Executive is a sales leadership role that leads the company's efforts to maintain and expand relationships with large, multi-location prospects and customers within an assigned territory. The role requires a strong understanding of the customer's business to confidently communicate and sell the company's product solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel who make or influence the buy decision in assigned customer accounts and prospects.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the customer's business to effectively communicate and sell the company's product solutions.
  • Lead solution development efforts, tailoring the sales process to best address customer needs and ultimately control the sales outcome.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
  • Work closely with Account Managers/Senior Account Managers to team sell and prospect Refrigerated Accounts.
  • Maintain conduct that reflects positively upon the company and establishes a positive working atmosphere.
  • Achieve assigned sales quota for all product lines in designated Refrigerated Accounts.
  • Use the company CRM/Salesforce and meet all weekly/monthly input requirements.
  • Meet expectations for pricing, profitability, and strategic customer objectives.
  • Complete strategic customer account plans and required training objectives.
Requirements:
  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years successful sales experience in a business-to-business strategic sale environment.
  • 2 to 5 years successful Refrigerated Account sales experience if outside of the company.
  • Knowledge of the trailer/power industry and/or equipment leasing is an advantage.
  • Must reach and exceed sales expectations consistently for a minimum of 4 years within the company.
  • PC proficiency.
  • Extensive travel up to 60-75% of the time.
  • Pass a background check, drug screen, and have a valid driver's license and be insurable.
