Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of a Full-Time Maintenance Worker within the Public Works department. This position offers comprehensive training to equip you with the skills necessary for a range of maintenance tasks associated with public infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Worker, your duties will include:

  • Executing construction and maintenance tasks in the street division, which encompasses pothole patching, street repairs, traffic control installation, pavement marking, and street sign placement.
  • Operating various machinery, including dump trucks, mowing tractors, street sweepers, front-end loaders, skid steers, track hoes, and snow removal equipment.
  • Engaging in the repair of stormwater systems, including trenching and backfilling operations.
  • Maintaining and cleaning assigned vehicles, tools, and equipment.
  • Assisting in snow and ice management on city streets through plowing and salt spreading.

Work Schedule & Benefits
Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm. We offer a competitive benefits package that includes:

Qualifications
