Position Overview
OVERNIGHT & SPLIT SHIFTS AVAILABLE
11:30pm-8:30am Thursday through Monday
8am-5pm Saturday and Sunday, 3pm-12am Monday, 11:30pm-8:30am Tuesday and Wednesday
This role involves providing essential guidance to students to foster positive living conditions and success within the program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide students in developing a constructive attitude and appropriate behavior in a communal living environment.
- Facilitate student interactions with counselors as needed.
- Assist in organizing unit activities and student governance.
- Monitor dormitory areas to ensure safety and compliance with behavioral standards.
- Compile daily reports and maintain necessary administrative documentation.
- Support students in maintaining cleanliness and order in living spaces.
- Manage inventory and requisition supplies to meet dormitory needs.
- Keep accurate records of student files and ensure they are up-to-date.
- Document student interactions and progress in the center's information system.
- Engage in career development initiatives by promoting a safe and positive living environment.
- Provide counseling, group sessions, and training in independent living skills.
- Uphold and advocate for the organization's Zero Tolerance Policy.
Qualifications
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with advanced degrees preferred. A minimum of one year of experience in a related program is necessary. A valid in-State Driver's License is preferred. Physical demands include the ability to sit, stand, climb, walk, lift, pull, push, carry, reach, stoop, and crouch. Candidates should be able to lift up to 40 pounds and assess loads appropriately.
