Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Anesthesia Technician PRN to join our team at Rose Medical Center. As a key member of our operating room staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist anesthesia providers with equipment and supplies, maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Participate in the care and cleaning of OR equipment, anesthesia equipment, and OR suites, ensuring they are in good working order.
  • Perform tasks in a sterile environment, handling medications and supplies with care and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with OR staff to anticipate needs and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Assist with arterial lines, central lines, blocks, and intubations as required, demonstrating knowledge of anesthesia equipment and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current Certification of Anesthesia Technician preferred, with current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • High school or GED, with graduation from an accredited program for anesthesia technicians required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Anesthesia Tech, with 2-3 years preferred.
