Role Summary and QualificationsThe Respiratory Care Technician is responsible for executing and coordinating procedures within the Pulmonary Physiology Lab, adhering to established policies and practices.
- Accountable for conducting specialized procedures within the defined scope of practice, enhancing clinical skills, ensuring equipment maintenance, and performing additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Provide guidance, collaboration, and education to medical staff, nursing teams, and patients/families.
Requirements:
- NBRC Certification, Registry eligibility, or equivalent credentials.
- Current Basic Life Support Certification from a recognized provider.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification preferred.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapist program or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 months experience.
