Role Overview

As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be pivotal in driving our growth by delivering exceptional technical support to our sales teams. Your role will involve collaborating closely with contractors and key engineering accounts, ensuring that our products meet the specifications required by our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong technical relationships with customers, understanding their product strategies and requirements.
  • Engage with engineers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure our products are included in their specifications.
  • Provide technical sales assistance to various internal teams, aiding in the development and review of engineering specifications.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to revise existing specifications and create new ones, targeting industry-specific requirements.
  • Deliver professional presentations to diverse audiences, utilizing product samples and visual aids to promote our offerings.
  • Proactively seek new customer opportunities, maintaining a consistent schedule of outreach and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with local code officials to ensure compliance and acceptance of our products.
  • Participate in industry societies to promote our technologies and foster relationships.
  • Be prepared to travel as needed to meet with clients and stakeholders.
Who You Are

You are a seasoned sales professional with a strong technical background, adept at building relationships and resolving inquiries efficiently. Your organizational skills and strategic planning capabilities enable you to manage key accounts effectively.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Preferred: College Degree.
  • Valid Driver's License.
