About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Assembler I to join our team at Calgon Carbon Corporation. As a key member of our Equipment Assembly team, you will play a critical role in the assembly and testing of our products, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test mechanical components, including pipes, fittings, and valves
  • Operate various machinery and equipment, including fork trucks and jib hoists
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve processes
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; industrial labor experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with attention to detail and quality
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
