About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Assembly Supervisor to join our team at Acutronic. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly, installation, and field service of electro-mechanical and hydraulic motion simulators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the assembly team and ensure the successful completion of projects
  • Assign tasks to team members and monitor progress
  • Train and mentor team members on processes and equipment
  • Review and approve mechanical detail drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs for manufacturability
  • Redline drawings and BOMs during the assembly phase to document as-built conditions
  • Review and approve Engineering Change Orders
  • Provide project managers with schedule input, including tasks, logic, labor hours, and durations
  • Review project binders, including checklists, mechanical drawings/BOMs, specifications, testing requirements, budget, and schedule, prior to release to the assembly team
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers to resolve assembly-related issues

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience
  • Experience with process development planning, including understanding of all relevant engineering requirements, developing manufacturing process flows, identifying tooling solutions, and estimating labor hours through all phases of the manufacturing process
  • Valid driver's license
