Job Summary

The Exercise Physiologist is responsible for orienting, monitoring, and evaluating patients receiving Exercise Myocardial Perfusion or Pharmacologic stress tests. This role requires maintaining good flow for all tests to minimize wait time for patients. Additional duties include orienting and monitoring patients, evaluating test results, and maintaining accurate records.

Education and Skills

A Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or a related field is required. Knowledge of basic 12-lead ECG and arrhythmia recognition is preferred. ACLS certification is also preferred. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
