Job Summary

The Front Desk Supervisor is a key member of the hotel team, responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
  • Guest Service: Provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk, including checking guests in and out, handling room assignments, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train front desk staff, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent guest service and operate the front desk efficiently.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with guests, staff, and management, ensuring that all needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate and resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, such as managing the front desk log, handling guest requests, and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: At least 2-3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license for the applicable state.
