Division Overview

Crown's Beverage Division specializes in manufacturing a wide range of packaging solutions for soft drinks, craft beers, coffees, and teas. We are committed to delivering high-quality products that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Job Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor II to join our team in Mesquite, NV. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising activities throughout the facility, with a focus on optimizing safety, quality, productivity, and spoilage. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate and supervise activities of equipment and personnel throughout the facility
* Communicate with departments and shifts on changes to equipment, production schedules, and production problems
* Work with employees to identify and implement solutions to machinery and equipment problems
* Perform and facilitate on-the-job training and coaching of employees as needed
* Apply knowledge of various processes and production methods to improve plant production
* Manage machinery set-up and adjustment and inspect products to ensure compliance to standards
* Oversee quality and recommend modifications to existing quality or production standards to achieve optimal performance
* Complete and administer necessary documentation, including production sheets, pallet ticketing, and process control sheets

Requirements

* High school education or equivalent
* Five to seven years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
* At least three years of proven supervisory experience
* Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field
* Packaging industry experience
* Knowledge of Six Sigma, SPC, and Lean Manufacturing

* Effective leadership skills, including conflict resolution, communication, and decision-making
* Demonstrated employee relations skills and the ability to motivate people
* Excellent time management and project management skills, as well as the ability to multi-task
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Excel, Word, and Access

Working Conditions

* The Manufacturing Supervisor II will work in a plant environment, with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic
* The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures and noise levels
