Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Float Phlebotomist to join our team at Medix. As a Float Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for providing phlebotomy support to various clinics within our region, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient specimen collection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Float to clinics across the assigned territory to provide phlebotomy support when staff are out for sick leave, FMLA, or other absences.
  • Perform high-volume venipunctures (50+ patients/day) with a focus on pediatric patients, including finger and heel sticks.
  • Maintain flexibility for occasional out-of-state travel, with travel accommodations provided.
  • Attend mandatory training during the first week in Murfreesboro, TN (M-F, 8-5), with meals and accommodations provided if necessary.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3+ years of non-plasma phlebotomy experience.
  • Pediatric phlebotomy experience is required.
  • Specimen processing experience.
  • Valid car insurance.
