Position Summary

The Catering Manager is accountable for the effective management of all catering operations. This role includes overseeing sales and event order communications, staff scheduling and training, as well as the planning, execution, and invoicing of all catering events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily catering operations
  • Supervise and develop staff
  • Implement culinary programs
  • Ensure exceptional customer service
  • Conduct financial management and analysis
  • Oversee special events
  • Drive marketing and sales initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A.S. degree or equivalent experience
  • General knowledge of hospitality and interest in sustainable practices
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience
  • Ability to engage with a diverse customer base effectively
  • Proficient in web-based ordering systems and customer management
  • Skilled in word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Capable of writing professional correspondence
  • Must adhere to company uniform standards
  • Utilize personal protective equipment as per company guidelines
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively
  • Supervise a team of hourly employees, including delivery and culinary staff
