Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct sales operations within a designated area to enhance market presence and boost overall sales performance.
  • Develop sales forecasts, set discount objectives, manage budget allocations, monitor variances, and implement corrective measures to meet sales and profit targets.
  • Collaborate with management to formulate and execute strategies for sales growth.
  • Engage with DIY customers, offering assistance with their projects and recommending Sika products while promoting cross-merchandising of related items.
  • Work alongside Pro Sales Managers to leverage shared leads and create additional sales opportunities. Interact with professional customers during store visits, showcasing Sika products and their benefits.
  • Maintain product displays, sales aids, and Point of Purchase (POP) materials effectively.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for impactful product displays, including wing stacks, bulk stacks, end caps, and stack outs.
  • Organize and participate in store-specific events, inviting key customers and promoting additional products for displays and demonstrations.
  • Provide training and demonstrations of products to store associates and consumers during sales visits.
  • Plan and execute training events during weekends and after hours in stores, and participate in major market training and roadshow events as scheduled.
  • Ensure the automatic replenishment system maintains adequate stock levels to support sales rates.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred experience in merchandising, retail operations, or the contractor segment, along with sales experience.
  • Self-motivated with a strong results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in computer skills, time management, and prioritization, with strong oral and written communication abilities. Capable of building relationships and influencing diverse personality types.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Willingness to work seasonal hours, including weekends, during peak periods.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary to assist in other territories.
