We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Billing Administrator to join our team at Goodwin Procter LLP. As a key member of our Global Operations Team, you will play a critical role in coordinating billing requirements for various partners, secretaries, and their clients.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate billing processes, services, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely entry into our billing system.
- Prepare, produce, and finalize invoices for assigned accounts, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Assist with bill preparation for more sophisticated bills and/or on-demand requirements as available.
- Responsible for recording and maintaining accurate phase, task, and billing codes.
- Collaborate with the Pricing and Project Management team and the Billing Compliance Team to coordinate special client billing requests and approval of special rate arrangements.
- Respond in a timely manner to Client Accounting emails and help line calls.
- Assist with preparing client and/or attorney analyses as needed.
- Address revised invoice balances as client issues are surfaced.
- Responsible for client audit report preparation and maintenance of client/matter maintenance information in coordination with the Billing Compliance team.
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience working in a professional services environment, law firm billing experience preferred.
- Experience with financial/billing software packages and Finance/Accounting organizational operations.
- Ability to handle a high volume of tasks maintaining attention to detail and prioritizing as necessary.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with strong knowledge of Excel preferred.
