Your Responsibilities:
As a Metrology Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site service solutions that significantly enhance our clients' operational efficiency. Your key tasks will include:

  • Collaborating with clients to confirm project scope and requirements.
  • Utilizing state-of-the-art laser metrology instruments to gather critical alignment and dimensional data.
  • Assessing machine conditions and identifying potential issues.
  • Offering on-site recommendations for improvements.
  • Executing maintenance tasks and supervising corrective actions.
  • Creating detailed Technical Service Reports, including 3D models as necessary.
  • Conducting site assessments to gather information for proposal development.
  • Working closely with Account Managers to formulate proposals.
  • Providing training to personnel on precision metrology tools and techniques.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related discipline.
  • A strong desire to advance into a leadership role within the field service team.
  • Proficiency in mathematical concepts including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
  • Excellent writing skills for producing comprehensive service reports.
  • A solid mechanical aptitude and a proactive work ethic.
  • Familiarity with MS Windows and common MS Office applications, as well as AutoCAD.
  • Experience with software such as Pro/Engineer, SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor, BuildIT, Spatial Analyzer, CAM2, or Polyworks is advantageous.
