Deburring Technician

We are seeking an experienced Deburring Technician to join our CNC machine shop team in the industrial gas turbine industry.

The Deburring Technician will be responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections from machined components to ensure a smooth, precise finish. This is a critical role in our process, and the successful candidate will work closely with the quality control team to inspect and verify finished parts meet industry and customer specifications.

• Deburring and Finishing: Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections from machined components using specialized tools such as deburring wheels, grinders, files, and hand tools.
• Precision Inspection: Conduct visual inspections to ensure finished components meet dimensional and surface quality standards.
• Component Care: Safeguard parts, ensuring they are free of damage and prepared for the next phase of production or assembly.
• Collaboration: Communicate with machinists and engineers to maintain product quality and resolve any production issues.

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in deburring or finishing operations, ideally in a CNC machining or precision manufacturing environment.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with machining processes and experience using deburring tools.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and precision, with the ability to inspect parts for defects and imperfections.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift components as required during the deburring process.
• Communication: Good teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
