We are currently seeking a full-time Receptionist for our client services team.
The selected candidate must be available for the designated shift.


POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Receptionist, your primary role will be to oversee the daily operations of the front desk team.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all team members are welcoming clients and visitors, managing incoming calls, and performing various administrative tasks in a professional manner.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Greet clients as they arrive or call, providing information about services, payment options, and billing procedures.
  • Schedule appointments and direct walk-in clients according to established protocols.
  • Handle all incoming calls and route them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Register clients following registration guidelines and collect necessary documentation.
  • Prepare required documents for each client and ensure all forms are accurately completed.
  • Verify client insurance coverage and calculate applicable charges.
  • Collect deposits or co-pays prior to client appointments as per established policies.
  • Inform clients of outstanding balances, collect payments, and issue receipts.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient client flow and minimize wait times.
  • Remind clients of upcoming appointments.
  • Follow up with clients who miss their appointments.
  • Communicate any client concerns to the clinic manager or designated personnel.
  • Demonstrate strong sensory skills, including visual acuity and good hearing.
  • Maintain the ability to stand, sit, and move throughout the workday.
  • Work closely with management to address clients who did not attend their appointments.
  • Exhibit effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Utilize computer systems and Microsoft Office proficiently.
  • Understand community-based organizations and resources.
  • Embrace and promote the mission of DNA Comprehensive Therapy Services LLC.

Bilingual Preferred:
Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to interact with clients through various communication channels.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and triage procedures.
  • Ability to relate to diverse populations.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Commitment to providing dignified healthcare for all.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Formal training from a vocational institution may be considered.
  • One year of experience in a similar healthcare setting.
