The BPR Insight team is in search of a skilled Engineering Project Manager to manage a varied portfolio of manufacturing software solutions. In this capacity, you will play a crucial role in Apple's manufacturing vision by directing and implementing intricate and inventive software initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineers, DevOps, production support, UX designers, and data scientists to deliver strategic products and features by defining technical solutions, assessing technical feasibility, outlining high-level levels of effort, and proposing project release strategies. Engage with stakeholders, business users, and product managers to comprehend the business rationale, define release requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and establish project scope. Develop thorough project plans, timelines, and milestones. Assume responsibility for project outcomes, ensuring exceptional quality and performance standards. Monitor project advancement, identify potential risks during software development, analyze their impact on the project, and formulate risk mitigation strategies. Conduct regular project assessments and post-project reviews to promote continuous enhancement. Navigate complex project demands and constraints with agility and strategic insight. Adapt to shifting priorities and requirements while maintaining focus on project goals. Utilize advanced project management tools and methodologies to oversee the project throughout the entire software development lifecycle, breaking down technical work plans into phases, sprints, releases, etc. Define the testing strategy and oversee test execution: unit testing, integration testing, test automation, regression testing, and performance/scale testing. Ensure a seamless transition of the project to sustaining operations. Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for impeccable project execution. Guarantee that projects are completed on schedule and within scope and budget. Facilitate effective communication within the team and across departments to ensure alignment and collaboration. Build and nurture strong relationships with clients and team members. Foster a positive and inclusive team atmosphere, encouraging trust and collaboration. Resolve conflicts and manage team dynamics to ensure smooth project advancement.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer software, software engineering, management information systems, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience as an Engineering Project/Program Manager or Engineering Manager, focusing on high-quality software.
  • Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Understanding of cloud computing concepts, data-centric ecosystems, technical platforms, and the engineering lifecycle.
  • Able to assess and refine engineering project proposals.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer software, software engineering, management information systems, or a related field or equivalent experience.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Comfortable analyzing data for insights and presenting findings to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven accountability and a history of delivering successful projects.
  • Experience in enterprise architecture and solution design.
  • Relevant project management certifications.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing and supply chain concepts (e.g., yield, process design, quality analysis).
  • Able to assess and refine engineering project proposals.
  • Master's degree in computer software, software engineering, management information systems, or a related field is a plus.
