Position Summary:
The Software Implementation Project Manager for Loan Origination Systems (LOS) is tasked with overseeing and directing the comprehensive implementation of LOS software solutions for clients. This position necessitates a solid grasp of loan origination workflows, project management principles, and software deployment practices. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with various teams, including IT, product development, compliance, and client representatives, to guarantee the successful execution of LOS projects within the designated timeframe and scope.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution:
    • Create detailed project schedules, encompassing timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
    • Establish project scope, objectives, and deliverables in partnership with stakeholders.
    • Coordinate efforts with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth implementation.
    • Track project progress, identify potential risks, and apply corrective measures as necessary.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Act as the main contact for clients throughout the implementation phase.
    • Facilitate ongoing communication with stakeholders to provide updates and address any challenges or concerns.
    • Manage client expectations and ensure that project outcomes align with client specifications.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Inspire and guide cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
    • Offer support and direction to team members during the project lifecycle.
    • Conduct project meetings to ensure all team members are synchronized on objectives and tasks.
  • Risk & Issue Management:
    • Identify potential risks and formulate mitigation strategies.
    • Address project-related issues promptly and effectively.
    • Escalate critical matters to senior management when required.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure all project deliverables adhere to the highest quality standards.
    • Oversee testing and validation procedures to confirm the LOS software operates as intended.
    • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure any defects are rectified before deployment.
  • Project Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain thorough project documentation, including plans, status updates, and change logs.
    • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
    • Ensure all project documentation is organized and stored according to company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline. PMP certification is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 4+ years of project management experience, particularly in software implementation.
    • Demonstrated experience in deploying Loan Origination Systems or similar software.
    • Strong knowledge of loan origination processes.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional project management abilities, including the capacity to handle multiple projects concurrently.
    • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
    • Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or equivalent.
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Adept at working effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
