Position Summary:
As a Registered Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting radiological examinations and procedures for patients across various age groups.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute general radiology, portable, and fluoroscopic procedures.
- Assist in the scheduling of patient examinations.
- Provide education to patients about procedures and equipment to ensure their comfort and understanding.
- Document any equipment malfunctions and notify management promptly.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Current registration as a Radiologic Technologist by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication skills and knowledge of human anatomy.
- Ability to work independently and handle stressful situations effectively.

Responsibilities Include:
- Performing emergency and surgical procedures, including trauma cases and various fluoroscopic exams.
- Producing high-quality images for accurate interpretation.
- Maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring patient safety at all times.
- Providing clear verbal and written instructions to patients and their families.
- Assisting in patient scheduling and prioritizing patient needs.
- Demonstrating the operation of radiography equipment according to technical specifications.
- Supporting Radiologists and physicians during procedures.
- Knowledgeable in managing images through PACS and ensuring proper documentation.

Education and Certifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Must hold a valid state license and be in good standing with ARRT.
- Current BLS certification is required.

Work Experience:
- A minimum of one year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting or assisting with lifting patients of varying weights and handling equipment.

Personal Protective Equipment:
- Adhere to standard precautions and utilize personal protective equipment as necessary.
