Position Summary:
Boeing Defense, Space & Security is on the lookout for skilled professionals to take on the role of Lead Manufacturing Planner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze Wire Harness Assembly (WHA) engineering design releases to ensure designs are manufacturable and adhere to configuration management protocols.
- Conduct producibility assessments of Electrical Production Illustration drawings (Wiring Installation Drawings) and Electrical Provisions, ensuring compliance with design for manufacturability standards.
- Assist in the creation, execution, and maintenance of Electrical build plans, Bill of Materials, and Work Instructions to accurately document the as-built airplane configuration.
- Facilitate integration efforts with suppliers, process enhancements, procurement kitting, and data analysis to fulfill manufacturing and delivery requirements.
- Operate with minimal supervision, collaborating effectively within assigned teams and knowing when to engage with other teams as necessary.
Work Environment:
This position is expected to be fully onsite.
Security Clearance:
Applicants must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in planning, sequencing, and installation of flight wire harnesses.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel features, including data analysis, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with various aspects of Wire Harness testing.
- Experience with change management processes and the ability to draft impact statements.
- Knowledge of certificate of conformance and conformity support actions.
- Understanding of Jira Software.
Education and Experience:
Typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Associate) and at least 6 years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This role is designated for the first shift.
