Job Summary

FBD Partnership, L.P. is a leading global manufacturer of frozen beverage dispensers. We are seeking a skilled Production Planner to support our production processes and ensure efficient workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain production schedules to meet ship dates and material availability.
  • Coordinate kit availability from spares and production to ensure customer orders are complete and shipped on time.
  • Evaluate Material Requirements Planning (MRP) messages from the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System and follow the shop order process to meet production/forecast demand.
  • Communicate inventory and purchase request statuses effectively across departments.
  • Follow up with teams to expedite the flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectations.
  • Create and set priorities on shipments to execute production plans.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to maximize shipments through spares and achieve target revenues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field; or Associate Degree with 3-5 years of experience.
  • 0 to 1 year of procurement or planning experience.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of production planning methods and techniques, such as MRP preferred.
  • Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on accuracy and precision in all planning activities.
  • Prior experience navigating through ERP/purchasing software a plus.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills for daily contact with internal employees and suppliers.

Physical Demands:

  • Required to type, have eye/hand/foot coordination, sit, occasionally stand, walk, lift, carry, push, pull, kneel, reach, and grasp.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • This position works in a typical office, manufacturing, and lab environment.
  • Clarity of vision including the ability to appropriately differentiate colors.
  • Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds.
