About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Plans Examiner III to join our team at Tranquil Multi Dynamic Advisory. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the compliance of building plans with relevant codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze building plans to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve code-related issues.
  • Prepare and submit comments on code deficiencies.
  • Calculate and manage fees associated with plan reviews.
  • Attend meetings with stakeholders to discuss plan reviews and code compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with code changes and ordinances.
  • Access and manage information from computer systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to public inquiries.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Seven years of experience in construction, design, or inspections of buildings, with a minimum of three valid building plans examiner certifications.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License and a clean driving history.
  • State of Florida-mandated licensing requirements.
Working Conditions

This role requires regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions, uneven surfaces, and dust. The employee must be able to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
