Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Support: Provide timely and effective HR support to employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Talent Acquisition: Lead recruitment efforts, including interviewing and hiring processes, to attract top talent.
  • Compliance & Credentialing: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and assist with credentialing processes.
  • Performance Management: Administer performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to employees.
  • Benefits & Leave Management: Oversee programs such as ADA, FMLA, Workers Compensation, and benefits administration.
  • Employee Relations: Support investigations, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Payroll Support: Process biweekly payroll and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized and accurate employee files.

Requirements:

  • Required:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
    • 2+ years of payroll processing and HR experience.
    • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
    • Experience with electronic payroll systems and employee benefits.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
    • Valid Michigan Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Preferred:
    • 1+ year of HR management experience.
    • SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
    • ADP Workforce Now experience.
