Job Title: Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at Ovivo. As an Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in leading our engineering team to develop and commercialize effective and safe products for the treatment of per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the mechanical technical aspects within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Establish appropriate design methods, sizing, and costing programs.
  • Check calculations, models, layouts, detailed drawings, specifications, and instructions prepared by drafters/designers and other engineers.
  • Communicate directly with customers and project managers to resolve technical issues.
  • Direct the execution of design projects and provide technical support to shop and field start-up services.
  • Document and update design procedures on a regular basis.
  • Advises project engineers, project managers, and other managers on project status.
  • Conducts quality control and quality assurance tests and ensures designs are compliant with clients' technical requirements and budget(s).
  • Assists in marketing business opportunities with key clients and development of responses to RFP/RFQs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil and Environmental, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Process Engineering from an accredited university.
  • 8+ years of engineering-related experience in the water/wastewater industry.
  • Professional Engineering Registration preferred (CPEng, RPEQ, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, SCADA, structural, and architectural disciplines along with working knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical equations to complex situations.
