Job Title:
Business Systems Analyst

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Product Backlog Management, Jira, and Confluence.

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that business requirements are accurately captured and translated into actionable tasks.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Utilize Jira to track and manage project tasks and progress.
  • Use Confluence to document project details, meeting notes, and other relevant information.
  • Conduct regular backlog grooming sessions to refine and prioritize tasks.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements.
  • Facilitate sprint planning meetings to allocate tasks and set priorities.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact project timelines or deliverables.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure that deliverables meet business requirements.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new systems.
  • Analyze project outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a strong understanding of Product Backlog Management principles and practices.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using Jira for project tracking and management.
  • Exhibit expertise in using Confluence for documentation and collaboration.
  • Have excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members.
  • Show ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Display strong analytical skills to identify and resolve issues quickly.
  • Have a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within scope.
  • Demonstrate experience in conducting user acceptance testing and providing end-user support.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Show ability to facilitate meetings and drive consensus among team members.
