We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Procedures Unit at Allegheny General Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and effective care for patients, adhering to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Direct and manage the activities of patient care delivery, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement plans of care, from admission to discharge.
- Assess learning needs of patients and families, providing education and support to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Current State of PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate, Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate, and Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
- CPR certification.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
