Highmark Health is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Allegheny General Hospital. As a CRNA, you will provide anesthetic care for patients in the surgical setting, working closely with our interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement anesthetic management for all patients presenting for anesthesia care.
- Provide continuous observation of patients under anesthetic care and correct abnormal patient responses.
- Participate in performance and quality improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to legal and ethical standards of nursing and the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
- Current PA RN license.
- Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
- BLS certification.
Preferred qualifications include previous CRNA experience.
