Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled VDC Manager to join our team in the Lexington, KY office. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our BIM standards and processes are leading to project success.
Key Responsibilities- Set up projects, including models and cloud-based hubs
- Troubleshoot the creation of federated models and their corresponding exports and translations
- Provide technology-related services and knowledge to Operations, Marketing, Preconstruction, and Business Acquisition departments
- Work as part of the Gray teams, interacting with owners, architects, and engineers to facilitate collaboration and communication during preconstruction through the use of BIM/VDC processes
- Manage multiple projects independently and train new team members
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a degree from a Technical College
- 8+ years of experience in the AEC industry
- Knowledge of Autodesk Design Suite and programs such as Assemble, Fuzor, and similar programs
- Advanced understanding of construction principles
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
