As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for securing profitable business for our company through effective sales presentations, thorough understanding of competitor's position, and continuous follow-up before and after the sale.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Securing orders from existing and potential customers through visits, phone calls, and emails.
  • Establishing professional customer/vendor relationships with key personnel.
  • Securing opportunities to quote on customer requirements and providing technical assistance as needed.
  • Ensuring equipment is professionally delivered and meets all conditions of the sale.
  • Following up on quotations submitted to customers and using Salesforce CRM to submit weekly activity/call reports.
  • Following up on all leads, contract lettings, and inquiries, and developing a plan of action.
  • Providing lost business reports and territory sales forecasts.
  • Working closely with the Branch Manager, District Manager, and other departments regarding customer accounts.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Advising Branch, District, and Corporate of all changes in territory that can affect company success.
  • Assisting in setting up and staffing booths at trade shows, exhibits, demonstrations, and meetings as required.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager, District Leadership, or Corporate.
Requirements:
  • Proven ability to manage sales and profits vs. forecasts and goals.
  • Good people skills and ability to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Proven ability and initiative to cold call and establish new accounts.
  • Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable, and well-organized.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree and at least three years outside sales experience in the construction industry are preferred. Knowledge of equipment rental industry preferred.
