Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents, while also ensuring that meals are nutritious and appealing.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that meals are prepared and served efficiently and effectively.
- Food Safety and Quality Control: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, and ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with food safety guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to prepare meals.
- Collaboration with Residents and Families: Work with residents and their families to understand their dietary needs and preferences, and to ensure that meals are tailored to meet their individual needs.
- Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year of experience in a food service management role.
