Job Title: Ship Doctor

Job Summary:
Crew Life at Sea is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ship Doctor to join our team. As a Ship Doctor, you will be responsible for providing medical care to our crew members and passengers on board our vessels.

Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and treat a wide range of medical conditions, including surgical, gynaecological, and paediatric problems.
• Perform suturing of wounds, incision and drainage of abscesses, and other medical procedures as needed.
• Provide Advanced Cardiac Life Support procedures and treatments, including emergency airway management.
• Administer thrombolytic agents and other medications as required.
• Work closely with the ship's chief doctor and other medical staff to ensure the highest level of medical care is provided to our crew and passengers.

Requirements:
• Must hold a diploma from an accredited school of medicine.
• Minimum two-three years of formal post-graduate/post-registration clinical training.
• Board certification or equivalent in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine.
• Current certification as an ACLS Provider or its equivalent, unless Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
• ATLS (Trauma) Certificate and PALS (Paediatric) Certificate helpful but not mandatory.
• Excellent command of the English language required (both spoken and written).

Working Conditions:
The Ship Doctor will work on board our vessels, providing medical care to our crew and passengers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
