About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Pacific Medical Centers. As a key member of our outpatient surgery team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing outpatient surgery, adhering to the Washington State Nurse Practice Act and Pacific Medical Centers policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating the principles of the Nursing Process.
  • Utilize a systematic approach to nursing practice, incorporating evidence-based practices and protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Nursing degree (Baccalaureate, Associate, or Diploma) from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Washington Registered Nurse License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • 1 year of recent RN experience in a patient care setting or clinical environment.
  • 2 years of recent RN experience in a patient care setting in area(s) of responsibility (Behavioral Health assignments only).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of recent RN experience in a patient care setting in area(s) of responsibility.
  • Recent prior experience in a hospital and out-patient setting.
  • Recent prior experience with phone triage.
  • 3 years of recent RN experience in a patient care setting in area(s) of responsibility (Behavioral Health assignments only).
