Overview of the Financial Analyst Role:

The Financial Analyst is instrumental in financial strategy and analysis, responsible for developing financial models, interpreting data, and aiding in the budgeting process. This role emphasizes utilizing financial insights to influence business strategies and uncover growth opportunities.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Construct financial models for forecasting and budget planning.
  • Provide monthly budget variance reports to stakeholders and management.
  • Design dashboards and reports for financial review sessions.
  • Assist branch and regional managers with breakeven analysis.
  • Support profitability reporting by Loan Officer.
  • Collaborate with partners on financial evaluations to enhance profitability.
  • Conduct ongoing financial performance assessments and analyses.
  • Advise on the financial implications of business decisions.
  • Create data-driven reports to support management in strategic planning.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analyses as required.
  • Examine industry trends and peer data to recommend profitability improvements.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Expertise in Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, and Macros.
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, with progressive responsibilities.
  • Prior experience in Mortgage Banking within a finance or accounting role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
  • Experience in Mortgage Banking roles such as Sales or Operations is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to demonstrate mobility and dexterity throughout the work shift.
  • Good vision capabilities and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Capacity to lift and carry items, as well as work in diverse environments.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and auto insurance for business purposes.

Compensation:

This position offers a competitive base hourly range starting at $54.47, influenced by various factors.
