Essential Qualifications:

Position Overview:

The primary role of the Pest Management Technician (Route Manager) is to oversee a designated route, delivering pest control and inspection services to commercial clients in accordance with established standards for quality and timeliness. The Route Manager will cultivate positive professional relationships with clients to fully grasp their unique challenges, provide informed recommendations, and address a variety of pest management issues. This position reports to the Branch Manager and collaborates with Operations Managers, Sales Representatives, and a team of technicians to enhance business operations continually.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a dedicated route of commercial clients, providing exceptional service in a professional, safe, and friendly manner.
  • Engage in training and certification programs, applying knowledge to identify, control, and eliminate pests.
  • Collaborate with clients and technical experts to resolve complex pest issues.
  • Offer proactive, knowledgeable advice to clients, effectively communicating options and recommendations for managing pest challenges.
  • Deliver outstanding service, striving to exceed client expectations in every interaction.
  • Set up, monitor, and dismantle equipment for new installations and specialized treatments.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries and service requests.
  • Adapt your schedule as needed to meet client demands, managing your route to address urgent service needs efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized company vehicle in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure proper inventory management of tools, equipment, and materials in the service vehicle.
  • Identify opportunities to expand accounts and branch sales by seeking referrals and discussing additional services with clients.
