Our client is in search of a seasoned Cyber Security Specialist II to become a vital member of their Information and Data Security Team.

The ideal candidate will exhibit adaptability, a strong focus on security, and possess extensive experience in overseeing IT security for medium to large enterprises.


Key Responsibilities:

Threat Management:
Proactively design and execute use cases and policies to address emerging threats, enhancing our client's security framework.

Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with IT Applications, Systems, and End User Device teams to integrate and evaluate security processes and controls.


Incident Response:
Address security incidents involving systems, desktops, and mobile devices, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.

Reporting:
Consistently report security activities and incidents to IT Leadership to establish and modify security priorities.

Qualifications:
Secure Internet Access/Web Filter/Proxy: 5+ years of experience
Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)/
End User Device Management: 5+ years of experience


Incident Response: 5+ years of experience in managing and mitigating incidents, including phishing, spear phishing, MITM attacks, Trojans, DDoS attacks, ransomware, malware, and social engineering.


Technical Skills:

Network Security:
IPSec, Network Segmentation, Internet Access Protection, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Advanced Threat Protection.

Endpoint Security:

Trusted Platform Module, System/Endpoint Encryption, VPN, Network Access Protection, Securing Wireless LANs, Patch Management, Antivirus, User Access Control (UAC).


Active Directory Services:
Secure Application Deployment, Information Rights Management, Access Control Lists (ACLs), Host/Device Hardening.

Incident Management:
Proficient in handling sophisticated attacks and implementing robust defense strategies.
