Job Overview

TEKsystems is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the network, software, systems, and infrastructure are designed and implemented to the highest security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead security, policy, and technical design and solutioning on projects throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Improve process efficiency by creating and implementing creative and sustainable changes to existing security methodologies.
  • Lead the identification of security requirements & provides remediation guidance for security risks.
  • Assist with security test case definition and acceptance criteria and identifies info security improvements.
  • Maintain visibility inside & outside of cybersecurity at an Engineering professional level.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT, including at least 1 year with primary focus in Cyber Security.
  • Technical security-related subject-matter expertise in at least two (2) of the following domains including at least 1 year of direct hands-on experience.
