David Evans & Associates, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to champion growth and develop market strategy in Oregon and Southwest Washington. As a key member of our Energy Business Unit, you will provide leadership to our team and deliver comprehensive multidisciplinary services to power utility, renewable energy, data center, industrial, and federal clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute regional strategic business plans for the energy market
  • Lead business development, client acquisition, and growth initiatives
  • Develop and communicate market share growth plans based on a strong understanding of clients' needs and competitors' strengths and weaknesses
  • Oversee the go/no-go decision process for new pursuits
  • Identify, recruit, and retain key talent to support the growth and expansion of the EBU
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the engineering and design sector
  • Minimum of 10 years of successful business leadership experience managing projects and developing client relationships in power delivery with specific experience in transmission, substation, or distribution
  • Proven track record of securing professional services for power delivery in Oregon, Southwest Washington, and/or Pacific Northwest
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Existing relationships and experience with Bonneville Power Administration and/or Portland General Electric
  • Professional Engineer license (PE)
  • Experience negotiating contracts for Alternative Project Delivery (APD) projects
