About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and operationally-minded Vice President of Human Resources to collaborate with our Executive Leadership Team and drive the company's growth by building robust HR solutions aligned with our mission and values.

This leader will develop and implement strategies focused on talent management, workforce planning, DEIA, and organizational development, with a strong emphasis on HR operational excellence and the ability to lead change management.

The ideal candidate will be a visionary who can nurture a high-performance culture and attract top talent in alignment with our ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Engage as an active executive leadership team member to influence and make decisions that support the vision, mission, and goals in a growing, innovative services environment.
  2. Build the people vision, talent management, and workforce planning strategy, with DEIA at the forefront, in partnership with the executive team.
  3. Enable and nurture a high-performance, client-focused, and highly engaged culture.
  4. Drive HR operational excellence, ensuring comprehensive support across the employee lifecycle.
  5. Develop effective people integration and change management strategies as the company expands organically and into new markets.
  6. Enhance organizational management practices, applying continuous improvement techniques to drive quality and profitability.
  7. Drive effective communication strategies that ensure organization-wide clarity, strategic alignment, teamwork, and employee engagement.
  8. Provide support and expertise to supervisors in establishing departmental objectives, staffing strategies, performance standards, policy development, and ensuring compliance with government regulations.
  9. Drive an effective employment brand strategy that attracts top talent.
Requirements

We are looking for a seasoned HR leader with years of experience driving best-in-class people solutions, aligning HR strategies to the organization's vision, mission, and goals.

Experience in a growing organization with at least 200+ employees is required, as well as strong expertise in leading HR Operations, including HRIS, benefits, compensation, and legal compliance across multiple states.

Broad HR Leadership with experience scaling for growth, talent management, organizational design, workforce planning, policy design, and building cultural values and DEIA into the HR infrastructure is essential.

The ideal candidate will be able to influence, lead change, and accomplish goals through a collaborative effort and excellent team communication.

Ability to foresee, prepare, and respond swiftly to changing business, external environmental factors, and other areas that influence the business is also required.

We are passionate about contributing to environmental sustainability by aligning HR initiatives with Cascade Energy's mission to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and drive energy efficiency across industrial sectors.

Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA, MA or MS, and/or SPHR or SHRM-SCP is a plus.
