Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Hebrew SeniorLife. As a Senior Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our residents. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for gerontology.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 per year.

About the Role

  • Deliver exceptional patient care, adhering to established standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify areas for improvement, and provide coaching to nursing staff.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of new work processes and systems.
  • Maintain accurate records, documenting all interactions and interventions in the electronic medical record.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor to colleagues, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

About You

  • A graduate of an approved school of nursing (BSN preferred).
  • Holds a current Massachusetts license as an R.N. in good standing.
  • Previous experience in gerontological nursing, preferably in a senior care setting.
  • Demonstrates empathy, compassion, and strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and display sound judgment.
  • Possesses superb organizational skills, solid analytical abilities, and a creative approach to problem-solving.
