About the Job:

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to the delivery of comprehensive orthopedic rehabilitation services. As a Sr. Orthopedic Therapist Specialist, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans that cater to their unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Provide expert physical therapy services to patients with various orthopedic conditions, including post-operative management, spinal disorders, and upper/lower extremity injuries.
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments, identify areas of improvement, and develop tailored treatment plans to address each patient's specific needs.
  • Clinical Collaboration: Work collaboratively with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Mentorship and Education: Share expertise and knowledge with junior colleagues, students, and support staff to foster a culture of learning and professional growth.

Requirements:

  • License and Certification: Possess a current, unrestricted license to practice physical therapy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and hold relevant certifications (e.g., Board Certified Clinical Specialist).
  • Education and Experience: Master's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent experience; minimum 3-5 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy, preferably in an academic or hospital setting.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
