Job Title: Technology Specialist II

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Specialist II to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will provide end-user support for our employees across the country, demonstrating creative problem-solving skills and developing proficiency in various technical areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to technical assistance requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, including account and printer problems.
  • Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Install and support various software applications as needed.
  • Log all support-related tasks in our ticketing system.
  • Provide support for the maintenance of our network and infrastructure.
  • Maintain passwords, data integrity, and file system security according to company policy.
  • Set up and deploy workstations, servers, networks, and printers.
  • Manage inventory for workstations, laptops, and other IT assets.
  • Stay current with system information, changes, and updates.
  • Support Mitel VOiP phone systems and configure and deploy desk phones.
  • Support and troubleshoot AutoCAD and other company design software.
  • Support servers across the organization.
  • Support backup systems and their integrity.
  • Support the company data replication system and archives.
  • Support network infrastructure.
  • Provide after-hours support for critical systems.
  • Assist with technology outages as needed.
  • Travel as assigned and needed.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in a corporate setting performing similar technical support duties.
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT-related field preferred.
  • Experience with various hardware and software platforms, including Dell, HP, Cisco, and Microsoft.
