Job Title: Maintenance Technician

US Engine Valve is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing machine malfunctions, performing preventive maintenance, and completing projects as directed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Complete projects as directed, including machine moves, modifications, installations, and material handling
  • Assist in the training of other maintenance personnel and production associates
  • Ensure that job functions maintain or improve product quality
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school
  • Advanced education (associate degree) in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred
  • Experience in working with electrical systems from 24V DC to 480V AC
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints
Preferred Qualifications:
  • On-the-job or classroom training, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, welding, and mechanical
  • Hilift/Forklift operation experience and ability to obtain license
  • Quality Management System and Environmental Systems Training
Working Conditions:

The Maintenance Technician will work in a manufacturing setting, standing, bending, stooping, lifting, pulling, and pushing are required.
