Passive House Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our High Performance Building Solutions (HPBS) team as a Passive House Coordinator in our office. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in advancing our mission to build sustainable, high-performance buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Support the team with project management tasks, including coordination of projects, tracking hours, updating budget spreadsheets, and setting up and uploading reports.
- Create internal meeting agendas by gathering input from others.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with colleagues, clients, and project teams using appropriate communication channels.
- Provide feedback to improve processes and team efficiency.
- Follow up with various individuals to ensure deadlines are met.
- Review project drawings throughout the design process.
- Perform area takeoffs from construction drawings to accurately determine building geometry and assist with energy modeling and other tasks.
- Generate 3D models of buildings using SketchUp.
- Complete and submit project documentation to fulfill various submittal processes.
- Contact and follow up with clients and other external stakeholders.
- Participate in design meetings and provide ongoing support to the entire project team.
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field with an emphasis on building systems.
- 1-2+ years of experience in multi-family design and construction.
- Proficient in AutoCAD or Bluebeam, with 1-2+ years of experience.
- 1-2+ years of experience in SketchUp or comparable 3D modeling software.
- Project experience with building projects in the U.S.
- General understanding of energy use in buildings.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with outstanding organizational abilities and strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Passive House, related certification programs, and/or U.S. or International Passive House (PH) standard software training is a plus.
- 1+ years of energy modeling experience (relevant college experience included).
This is a hybrid position. Most of the duties will be performed in a home or office environment (3 days in office and 2 days remote).
